Hi, Michelle!
Walt Disney himself chose the current area Walt Disney World Resort is located due to its large size. Walt said, "There's enough land here to hold all the ideas and plans we can possibly imagine." He sure would be proud today! Walt Disney World Resort is currently home to four Theme Parks (Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom Theme Park), two Water Parks (Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and Disney's Blizzard Beach), ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, Disney Springs, Disney's BoardWalk area, and multiple Walt Disney World Resort hotels.
Don't worry, Michelle! Complimentary transportation is available throughout Walt Disney World Resort property to transport you to and from each of these locations. It makes getting around a breeze - and it sure is nice to let someone else do the driving. If you have Advanced Dining Reservations, do allow enough travel time (90 minutes). You do not need any special admission to enter Disney Springs or Disney's BoardWalk area.
The best way to travel to Disney Springs is to take a
bus from any Walt Disney World Resort hotel. From Magic Kingdom Park, the closest hotel is just a walk away. As you are exiting the park, follow the path that will be to your left. It will lead you to Disney's Contemporary Resort. There will be a bus stop just before you would reach the main building. Bippity Boppity Boo - you will be on your way!
Getting to Disney's BoardWalk area is even easier. Once you exit Magic Kingdom Park, head right to the bus area. Look on the bus directory to locate the stop number for Disney's BoardWalk Inn and proceed to that stop. Once you arrive at this hotel, enter the main lobby and exit through the back of the building. The BoardWalk will be straight ahead!
Please stop by again if you need any additional planning help, Michelle!
