We are going to Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios in two weeks and I have a 3 year old boy who LOVES! Lighting Mcqueen and Friends. Where can we see them? I can't leave Disney without seeing them :)

    Hi Carolina,

Right now, Lightning McQueen and Mater aren't greeting guests at Hollywood Studios as they did a year or so ago, and I'm not aware of any character meet and greets with the stars of Cars at the moment. However, I think your son will feel as if he has dropped into the streets of Radiator Springs if you make a visit to the Art of Animation resort.

In the Cars section of the resort, you can walk through the "streets" and find Lightning, Mater, Flo, Luigi, Doc Hudson, Fillmore and more. You're welcome to stroll along, take pictures and see the characters up close, even if you're not a guest at Art of Animation. You can hop on a bus there from one of the theme parks. Or, if you have your car, stop in and let security know you want to look around and/or have something to eat. I recommend the Landscape of Flavors food court!

Also, if you decide to visit Epcot, you'll find topiaries of Lightning McQueen, Mater and Cruz in the play area near Test Track.

Be sure you check your Times Guide when you arrive at Walt Disney World to see the most up-to-date listing of character greetings, just in case something new has been added that I'm not aware of.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Carolina. Enjoy your Walt Disney World visit with your young Cars fan.
