Is Magic Kingdom still having the park opening ceremony at the gate?

    Hi, there!

Oh my goodness, Kirby - it looks your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is about to begin. How exciting! I'm sure you're ready to experience pixie-dusted adventures in the theme parks.

My favorite way to start and end a Disney vacation is with a visit to Magic Kingdom Park. I can't think of anything more magical than a stroll down Main Street, U.S.A. with Cinderella Castle in the background! When my family visited Magic Kingdom Park last week, there were no park opening ceremonies at the entrance both days we were there. However, we were pleasantly surprised to see Mickey Mouse and his pals greeting Guests from the top of the Walt Disney World Railroad Station on Main Street, U.S.A. My preschooler, especially, loved getting to see those beloved Disney Characters when we entered the park first thing in the morning! I teared up a bit as I watched her beam with excitement and wave to her friends. It made for a precious memory!

Have you heard the news about Happily Ever After? This cherished nighttime spectacular at Magic Kingdom Park is back for Guests of all ages to enjoy! When you arrive at Magic Kingdom Park, be sure to check that night's showtime. Watching the skies light up above Cinderella Castle is truly the most magical way to end the day!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Kirby. I'm wishing you a Disney vacation that is practically perfect in every way!
