Does Magic Kingdom still have Halloween parades or Halloween activities on days where MNSSHP is not happening?

Hey Howdy Hey Lesly and welcome to planDisney!

Fall is a great time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. The weather is starting to cool off, crowd levels slow down as kids are returning to school and celebrations for the Halloween season begin to kick up. Thank you for your question about Halloween-specific parades and activities in Disney World. I will be happy to give you more information on some of the details.

When visiting the Walt Disney World Resort around Halloween time, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be taking place in Magic Kingdom on select nights. To keep the novelty of the celebration as well as the consistency of Magic in the park, most of the special Halloween activities and parades happen only during that party. While most of the celebration happens during the party, there are a few places to keep an eye on that you can get into the celebration without attending the party.

One of the biggest attractions in Walt Disney World is the food! While there are consistencies to the menus, there are many seasonal changes to snacks and desserts that happen throughout the resort. Many of the resorts and some restaurants in the parks get into the celebration with special offerings during the Halloween season. Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog where news and even a Foodie Guide may be released highlighting all of the places around the resort where you can indulge in these special treats. My family had an incredible time a few years ago hopping to all the Magic Kingdom resorts to try unique desserts and drinks special for Halloween available throughout the season.

If you want to check out the special nighttime fireworks show during the party but don't want to attend, then Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is where you want to be. You can feel free to pull up a chair or some sand on the beach that faces Magic Kingdom. During the fireworks, the music is piped in while you watch the incredible show from afar. It is the best place to watch the fireworks outside of the park in my opinion!

I hope this helped give you an idea of expectations and plans for your upcoming trip. If you have any further questions, feel free to drop by and let us know, we are always happy to help!

    Have a Magical day,

    Nick
