Hi there, Yuhang, and welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you'll be arriving at Walt Disney World Resort in just a couple of short days - how exciting! From one Georgian to another, I'm happy you've stopped by with this great question about your upcoming vacation.
Yuhang, I'm sorry you were unable to secure a reservation for the
Seats & Sweets Fireworks Dessert Party. I want to encourage you to keep checking back on the My Disney Experience Mobile App in case any other Guests cancel their reservation, as they're allowed to cancel up to 24 hours in advance. There are so many options for locations to watch fireworks, so I'll share a few of my favorites with you in case you need a backup plan.
California Grill is a restaurant at the top of Disney's Contemporary Resort that offers a special view of the fireworks. Make a dinner reservation here for an unforgettable fireworks viewing experience. The food is delicious, and it's perfect for date night or a special celebration.
Another option within the
Enchanting Extras Collection is a
Fireworks Cruise. You'll board a private boat with a Cast Member and sail out to the Seven Seas Lagoon for a unique view and lovely experience.
You can see fireworks and the projections from pretty much anywhere on Main Street, U.S.A. If you've never seen the Happily Ever After Fireworks Show before, this would be where I would start. Grab some DOLE Whip or popcorn and arrive a few minutes early to get settled in a spot.
Since I've seen Happily Ever After quite a few times, I enjoy watching it from behind Cinderella Castle as well. If you stand near the carousel, you'll be surrounded by the fireworks as they shoot toward the sky. It's less crowded in that area, so it's perfect for my daughter, who loves to dance to the music. It also keeps us close to the attractions, so we can hop right in when the show is over.
Yuhang, I hope this is helpful to you as you plan your vacation. Please stop by planDisney with any other questions you have!
See ya real soon!
