    Does the Magic Kingdom have fireworks before closing to start the MVMCP?

    Hi Colleen,

    Thank you so much for stopping by with your question. Fireworks are easily my favorite form of entertainment at Walt Disney World. There's something so magical about seeing the skies over Cinderella Castle light up with brilliant colors. Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season takes place during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Wishes Nighttime Spectacular fireworks show does not take place before the park closes at 7pm on party nights.

    If you're not attending the party, you can still catch a glimpse of the fireworks at several dining locations outside of Magic Kingdom Park, like the California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort or 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. You can even hop aboard a pirate ship and get a fantastic view of the show on the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage. Pirates & Pals is my favorite way to view Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season from outside the park as you get a fantastic view of the perimeter fireworks. It's the next best thing to attending the party.
