Hey Howdy Hey Sharon and welcome to planDisney!
There is no better way to end your day in Magic Kingdom than watching
Happily Ever After. The only possibility would be watching it twice! While this possibility is super rare, there are times in Magic Kingdom you can catch 2 shows. Let's go over how to do so.
The park hours are specific to crowd size expectations as you will see them vary throughout the year. During slower times the parks may close a little early, say around 9:00 PM, but during busier times, this may be closer to 10 or 11:00 PM, especially in the spring and summer. In some cases, Disney may extend them to midnight. While extending closing time for the parks may happen, it is doubtful that Disney will add a second showing of fireworks as well as a dessert party. I have been in the parks plenty of times during the spring and summer and Disney has made an announcement in the parks and via the My Disney Experience app that the park would be open for an extra hour or so but no change in fireworks viewing.
One opportunity to view the fireworks twice would be with a
Special Event ticket.
Disney After Hours Events are specially ticketed events that allow Guests to experience the parks for 3 extra hours in the evening after the parks close to the general public. On the days that Disney has these parties, you may find Happily Ever After earlier in the evening and Enchantment later that night. With the purchase of the After Hours event, you can enter the parks starting at 7:00 PM and should allow you time to experience both fireworks shows. This would be your best bet to see 2 shows in one night.
I hope you can catch Happily Ever After the next time you are in Magic Kingdom. The show pairs perfectly with the dessert party with special viewing areas of the show to make things a bit more Magical. If you have any other questions, please feel free to let us know, we are always happy to help!
To Infinity and Beyond,
