Does Magic Kingdom or Epcot do anything for Easter

Welcome to planDisney, Irene! Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort are my favorite time to plan a trip because there's always some extra pixie dust sprinkled around those special days. Easter is a great time for a visit because there are lots of fun things to do to celebrate this time of year.

At Magic Kingdom Park, Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny meet and greet guests on Main Street, U.S.A., usually between the Chamber of Commerce and City Hall buildings on your left as you come out from underneath the Walt Disney World Railroad station. On Easter Sunday, there has also typically been an Easter-themed addition at the beginning of the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade, so make sure you're around to catch that. These offerings are subject to change, so make sure to check out the My Disney Experience app on the day you're visiting to see what will be happening this coming weekend.

The EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival is in full swing and it has a lot of springtime-themed offerings, including the Egg-Stravaganza Easter Egg Hunt, which is happening until April 9 this year. You can purchase the map kit at the Port of Entry Shop, World Traveler, Creations Shop, and other locations around EPCOT and spend the day hunting for the hand-painted eggs around World Showcase. Once you've found all the eggs and matched the stickers to their locations, bring your map back to one of the redemption locations to collect your prize! I won't spoil it, but the prizes are super cute this year, and you'll love the Easter theming.

My favorite part of any holiday is the treats, and there are so many unique snacks to enjoy at Walt Disney World Resort this Easter. Disney Parks Blog has created a Foodie Guide to Easter 2023 that highlights all the special food available! Chocolate eggs are a highlight of this time of year, and while you might not be able to eat the ones that are on display around some of the Resort Hotels, they are beautiful works of art and are worth a special trip to go and see them.

Have a magical day, Irene, and happy Easter!
