Hey there, David. It's great to see a fellow North Carolinian here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I love that you plan to be up and at em while you are on vacation at
Walt Disney World. You are able to check off so many must-dos in the first few hours that the parks are open. Arriving early is always my number 1 tip. I can tell your trip is off to a great start already! The absolute closest to
Magic Kingdom Park that you are going to get dropped off is where the buses that run to and from the resorts drop off and pick up. It seems like the buses won't get you there as early as you'd like to arrive. However,
Minnie Vans are also able to drop off in this area. Minnie vans can be hired via the Lyft mobile app so be sure to have that downloaded on your smartphone before your trip. Minnie Vans start running at 6:30 a.m. each morning. When you are ready to go somewhere, simply open the Lyft app. You'll then select the Minnie Van option. If the Minnie Van isn't the default vehicle displayed, you'll need to swipe through the options until you come to it. You'll then be able to enter your destinations, see travel times and pay all conveniently within the app. Ordering a Minnie Van right at 6:30 a.m. should get you to Magic Kingdom Park by 7:00 a.m. no problem. If you use other rideshare type services, besides the Minnie Van within the Lyft app, they will drop you off at the Transportation and Ticket Center. The
monorail or
boat will begin running 45 minutes prior to Magic Kingdom Park opening and will take you over to the park entrance. That's going to take a little bit more time. A Minnie Van is going to be your best bet!
I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask. Have fun!
