We will be in Magic Kingdom during the day for my daughter's 10th birthday. We would like to stay for the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party rather than leaving and coming back. Will we still need to purchase an additional ticket for the MNSSHP?

Hey there, Heather!   Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is a separate ticket event that takes place every fall at Magic Kingdom.  The party is one of my favorite extras at Walt Disney World and I highly recommend attending if at all possible.  Even if you plan to spend the day at Magic Kingdom, you will need to purchase a party ticket if you want to stay.  The party officially starts at 7:00 p.m. and those who have a special wrist band are allowed to stay and those that do not will be asked to leave the park.  If you do plan on purchasing a ticket to stay for the party, you can get your wrist band starting at 4:00 p.m. at several locations throughout the park.  It's convenient because you don't have to leave and reenter.

I hope this helps!  If you have any other questions, please come back and ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
