We will be at magic kingdom but don’t have not so scary Halloween party tickets. Do we have to leave? What’s that process look like? Can we stay and eat and not ride rides?

    Hi Jordan!

I'm excited to hear that you are getting ready for a visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Your trip is just around the corner, so I'm sure you are counting down the sleeps until your vacation.

On select evenings in the fall, Magic Kingdom closes early to host Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This is a fun special event where Guests can enjoy special party entertainment, tasty treats and trick-or-treating throughout the theme park. Magic Kingdom will close at 6:00 p.m. on party evenings so it can prepare for the evening's special event, which begins at 7:00 p.m. Guests with party tickets will be given special party wrist bands as they are entering the park, which will allow them to participate in the evening's fun.

If you will be enjoying Magic Kingdom using standard theme park tickets and you don't have party tickets, then you will be directed towards the park's exit at 6:00 p.m. when Magic Kingdom closes. Unfortunately, only Guests with tickets to that evening's party and the associated party wristband will be able to enjoy Magic Kingdom's attractions, dining and entertainment once the park's standard hours end at 6:00 p.m., so you won't be able to stay in the theme park after standard operating hours end.

You have several options to end your magical day after your time at Magic Kingdom is over. You can take a trip to one of the Disney Resort hotels on the resort monorail to enjoy the incredible dining experiences at one of these hotels. One of my family's favorites is Kona Cafe! Another great option is to use complimentary resort transportation buses to travel to Disney Springs and spend your evening enjoying its dining, entertainment and shopping!

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
