Will the Magic Kingdom still be decorated for fall on November 1st?

Boo to you, Melanie! I hope you’re enjoying the fall season as much as I am! The leaves are changing, the smell of pumpkin spice is in the air… and there’s no better place to enjoy it than at the Walt Disney World Resort!

I checked with a Cast Member, and she said that Magic Kingdom Park’s transformation from fall to the holidays typically takes about a week. So, with your November 1, 2020 arrival, you should be able to enjoy some of the beautiful fall décor before it’s taken down to make way for the magic of the holiday season. However, keep in mind that the Fall Fun at Magic Kingdom Park technically runs through October 31, so some of the Halloween décor may already be taken down before your visit. According to the Disney Parks Blog, the holidays will officially kick off at Walt Disney World Resort on November 6, and continue through December 30. So, between November 1 and November 5, Magic Kingdom Park will be undergoing the transformation between seasons. That could be the perfect week to experience a little bit of fall and the holidays!

I also recommend checking out the Taste of Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, which began in July of 2020 and continues this fall. Here’s a handy Foodie Guide so you can scope out your favorite picks before your arrival!

Wishing you a pixie-dusted visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, Melanie!

Can’t wait to see ya’ real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Greetings from sunny California! I live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder (and now a Magic Key Passholder) for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Learn More About Kristin
