Welcome to planDisney, Lisa!
I know you are SO ready for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! You will be enjoying all the holiday magic around the theme parks, resorts, and Disney Springs in just a few short days. Nobody decks the halls quite like Disney, and I know you are going to have so much festive fun!
I have happy news for you, Lisa. You will be able to enjoy a full Magic Kingdom Park day during your visit. The
Disney Very Merriest After Hours Party is true to its name - it begins after Magic Kingdom Park has closed for the day. You'll be allowed to stay until the end of Park Hours, enjoy the Disney Enchantment fireworks show, and then head out for the night. If you take a look at the
Park Hours for your date, you can see the official closing time for each theme park. You can also find the hours in the
My Disney Experience mobile app.
Guests with tickets to the Disney Very Merriest After Hours Party will be allowed to enter Magic Kingdom Park as early as 7:00 p.m., and as a day Guest, you will be asked to leave by 9:00 p.m.; Cast Members will check for wristbands at entrances to attractions and at designated posts throughout the park.
Lisa, even without the party, there are so many opportunities to celebrate during your visit. The festivities for
The World's Most Magical Celebration are taking place all around Walt Disney World Resort, and the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays is a great way to enjoy lots of holiday magic. Have you seen the Disney Parks Blog's
Foodie Guide to holiday treats in the theme parks and in Disney Springs? So much yumminess!
Thank you for stopping by with your question, and I hope you have the BEST time! We're here to help if you have any further questions as you plan and dream.
Wishing you a merry and magical vacation,
