Hiya Vicky! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy! A trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth with so many people you love? How magical! Traveling with a group to the Walt Disney World Resort can have its challenges, but in the end, you and 25 other Guests will have memories that will last a lifetime! I hope I can help you make the planning process a bit smoother today!
Unfortunately, Vicky, there are no dining locations on property that can accommodate a party that size. Generally, reservations at
table service dining locations are capped at around 8-10 Guests. That certainly does not mean that you will not be able to enjoy lots of delicious food while you visit. We just may have to get creative!
My best recommendation if you'd really like to dine at these table service locations is to split your reservation into smaller groups. At some dining locations, you may be able to find times within 30 minutes of each other for the reservations. Though not guaranteed, you can request with a Cast Member at check-in that your tables be close to one another. I think with a group this large, this would be a tough accommodation, but I know they'll try their best! While you won't all be together per se, you will have smaller groups enjoying the same meal and can reconvene and talk about your experience after you wrap up. Remember, you may book
advance dining reservations 60 days ahead of your arrival date if staying at a
Disney Resort Hotel or 60 days ahead of your dining date if staying elsewhere. Utilizing all the time you have to make this reservation is very important, as dining books up pretty quickly and it'll be harder to find what you're looking for the longer you wait.
Vicky, I do have one more suggestion that may help your group stay together. The team at
Disney Meetings & Events is accustomed to working with larger groups like these. They run business meetings and conventions, help plan social events on property and more. Your group of 26 would certainly meet their requirements for an "event." You may consider reaching out to them and booking a more private, catered meal at one of their venues. This will allow your whole group to enjoy the experience together.
Hustling your way through the magic with so many people, I'd also recommend familiarizing yourself with the
My Disney Experience App and some of its features that may help you maximize your time in the parks. For example,
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering can help you save time and energy by ordering your meal directly from your phone without having to wait in line with so many Guests. Can you imagine how long it may take for 26 people to place their order? With this feature, everyone can order ahead of time from their mobile device, cover their own check with no messy splits and pick up the food from a Mobile Order window once the app alerts them that it is ready. Ka-Chow!
Vicky, I do hope I was able to provide some options that will make your dining dreams come true during your magical vacation!
Hakuna Matata,
Ashley
