Hi Koichiro!
You’re in for an absolutely magical holiday season at Walt Disney World Resort! While Happily Ever After is taking a little winter break during your visit, there’s still plenty of spectacular nighttime entertainment to enjoy in
Magic Kingdom Park and
EPCOT. Let me share what’s in store!
Starting December 21 through December 29, Magic Kingdom Park will dazzle guests with Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks. This stunning holiday show fills the sky above Cinderella Castle with breathtaking bursts of color and beloved Christmas music. The festive castle projections add an extra layer of magic, making it feel like you’ve stepped into a winter wonderland. So even though Happily Ever After is taking a quick winter break, you’ll still be dazzled with another beautiful display!
If you’ll be at or around Magic Kingdom Park on December 30 or 31, you’ll get to experience my personal favorite fireworks show, Fantasy in the Sky. This classic New Year’s celebration is a true spectacle. While there likely won’t be castle projections for this show, the perimeter fireworks are unforgettable. They create the incredible illusion of fireworks surrounding the park, making the entire evening feel like a grand finale. It’s an awe-inspiring event I look forward to every year.
At EPCOT, you’ll find Luminous: The Symphony of Us lighting up the night. On New Year’s Eve, EPCOT adds even more excitement with Cheers to the New Year: A Sparkling Celebration, a special late-night fireworks display that begins just before midnight. It’s a beautiful way to welcome 2025, blending music and fireworks into an unforgettable celebration.
