Hiya Christina,
Welcome to planDisney! After a long day of magic, the nighttime spectaculars are the cherry on top of a fantastic day. My family knows that we aren’t leaving until the very last fireworks lighten up the night sky!
Christina, I’m not sure what date in particular you are talking about, but if you are visiting in the next few weeks, you are likely visiting Magic Kingdom Park during one of
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Parties. On nights when a party is scheduled, Magic Kingdom Park closes at 6 pm to Guests without tickets, so Happily Ever After Fireworks will not be shown. Party Guests will instead get to experience
Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show. If your “heart beats faster” for
Happily Ever After Fireworks, you can still experience it when Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is not taking place.
Before I let you go, Christina Minie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show is always incredible, and I recommend watching it if you can. If you do not have a ticket to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, I suggest getting an advanced dining reservation for
California Grill. Besides being some of my favorite food at Walt Disney World Resort, a dinner reservation enables you access to the special observation deck to check out Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show! They pipe in the music, and the spectacular views are a win/win!
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
