Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Steven!
I applaud you for thinking this far ahead in your planning! See, I learned this lesson the hard way on an evening where I had similar plans as you and I found myself a tad bit stuck at
Disney’s Contemporary Resort while my vehicle was parked at the Ticket and Transportation Center. Thankfully, all ended well thanks to a ride-sharing service that I was able to call, and it was a very inexpensive trip.
Steven,
the monorail will stop running about an hour to an hour and a half after the park closes. So, I recommend moving your car to Disney’s Contemporary Resort once you exit Magic Kingdom that evening so you don’t have to plan for a ride after your meal at
California Grill. Parking at the Resort Hotel is complimentary for visiting guests. Simply let the cast member at the gate entrance know you are dining at the resort, and you will be able to park at the hotel’s parking lot to enjoy your delicious dinner with enchanting views.
I hope my planning faux pas helps you as you plan so, you don’t have to fret about a late-night ride during your magical vacation to the place where the magic is endless, but the transportation does have a closing time. Ha!
Wishing you a magical visit,
Emille ºoº
