Since Magic Kingdom will close at 7 pm in October, will our family have to leave the park and come back if we book the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween? Or are we allowed to stay and ride the attractions?

    Hi Carrie,

If you have tickets for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, you will not have to leave the Magic Kingdom before the party. Everyone with a ticket to the party will get a wristband. In the late afternoon there will be an entrance set aside for the party and (usually) a location inside the park to get your wristbands for the party. After 7pm cast members will check to make sure you have a wristband before allowing you to ride an attraction or get in a trick-or-treat line.

We have been to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party several times. We like to use the party day to sleep a little later and spend some time at the resort pool. After a restful day, we're ready to get dressed up, even if only in Halloween t-shirts, and spend the evening at the party. According to the Disney Parks Blog, last year you could enter the park as early as 4pm with your party ticket. That would give you time for an early dinner before the party gets in full swing!

Please let me know if you have any other questions.
    Wishing you a magical vacation!
