Hi Tristin!
I'm excited to hear that you are getting ready for a
magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation during the holiday season! The theme parks, Disney Resort hotels and Disney Springs are always full of Disney magic, but the holidays offer extra-special seasonal joy for Guests to enjoy! Be sure to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for the latest news and announcements about everything you will be able to experience during this year's holiday celebrations.
On select evenings in November and December,
Magic Kingdom closes early to host
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. On party nights, Magic Kingdom will close at 6:00 p.m. as it prepares for the evening's party, which begins at 7:00 p.m. After 6:00 p.m., Guests with standard theme park tickets who do not have tickets to that evening's party will be directed towards the park's exit. So, unfortunately, if you do not have tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, you won't be able to enjoy your dinner reservation at 6:30 p.m because
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Dining begins at 6:00 p.m.
You have several great options for dinner after your Magic Kingdom day. You could visit one of the restaurants in the Disney Resort hotels along the
Resort monorail. My family loves
Chef Mickey's and
'Ohana. You could also head to
Disney Springs to end your day enjoying this area's dining, shopping and entertainment. I recommend that you visit
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' or
Morimoto Asia as they are two of my favorites!
Come back to see us if you have additional questions as you continue planning. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
