How do you get from Magic Kingdom to Chip and Dale sing along at Fort Wilderness? About how long do you think it takes to get there? Thanks!

Hi Julie! It is actually very easy getting from the Magic Kingdom to Fort Wilderness where the Chip and Dale's Campfire Singalong is located.

When you exit the park walk straight ahead and you will see a boat dock (not the big ferry one) and on the right is the line for Fort Wilderness. It is probably the closest transportation to the park. The boats run like the buses and will come and go about every 15-20 minutes. The boat "should" take you directly to Fort Wilderness and at most it is a 15 minute ride. On occasion due to boats being down or not enough drivers you will share boats with the Wilderness Lodge and they will stop there first making it a 30-40 minute ride.

Once you arrive at Fort Wilderness you will have two choices. You can walk up past Pioneer Hall to the bus area and catch one of the internal buses (orange being easiest) or you can simply walk the short distance to the campfire area.  This is about ten minutes. I always suggest walking as it usually is faster and you have to walk quite a ways anyway to get to the buses. Walk straight out and stay on the sidewalk along the main road. When you get to the first bus stop on this road there is a walkway on the left side and that will take you across the pond to the campfire site. They light the fires about 30 minutes prior to the show so if you would like to purchase some s'more ingredients and roast some marshmallows then get there early. Right now the show is at 7pm since the time has changed and at other times of year it will be at 8pm so please check before heading out for the correct one during your vacation.

Hope you are able to include this fun activity in your plans for your upcoming vacation!
