On 9/22 at Magic Kingdom is Celebrate the Magic at 8:45,Wishes Nighttime Spectacular 9:00 and Electrical Parade at 10:00. Will I have any problems seeing all 3 that nite? Where should we be to see all 3? 1st time coming to Disney World.

    Barbara:

My family doesn't have the patience to sit on the curb of Main Street for two hours awaiting the castle show, fireworks, and a parade, so I usually recommend to folks who don't want to wait or deal with the masses of crowds to head to the flag circle and sit at its "12 o'clock" tip (if you are looking at it from the train station). Although this view doesn't give you the maximum viewing for the castle show at 8:45, you will have a panoramic view of the fireworks and a front-row seat for the parade. Best of all, folks won't be passing by you as they enter the Main Street storefronts. With all that said, though, keep in mind that there will be a mass of folks exiting the parks after the fireworks because there is an 8 p.m. parade which can make this usually quiet perch very congested.

Consider another approach: After the 8 p.m. parade, guests fill in Main Street to view the Castle Show and fireworks. We have found that standing near the crest of Main Street between the sidewalks to Liberty Square and Tomorrowland provide is the best vantage point with minimal wait time. You may have to stand 20 minutes or so, but very doable. After the fireworks, you should be able to find a curb from which to see the late parade as the crowd dissipates. However, if you're willing to walk with the crowd that is departing down to the flag circle, you should be able to find a good spot from which to see the later parade and be steps away from exiting the park afterward.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
