Does the Magic Kingdom bus still leave before 7am to take guests to MK or the Contemporary for breakfast reservations? i have a reservation at Chef Mickey's at 7:10am on December 11th. Just want to make sure i don't need to make other plans.

    Hi Tabitha!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. With its tasty food, convenient location and amazing character interactions, Chef Mickey's is one of my favorite dining experiences at Walt Disney World Resort. Generally, complimentary resort transportation buses will begin operating from your Walt Disney World Resort hotel to Magic Kingdom one hour in advance of when Magic Kingdom is scheduled to open and from Magic Kingdom, you can make the quick walk to Disney's Contemporary Resort. While there are often earlier buses to accommodate Guests with early breakfast reservations, I recommend that you arrive at your bus stop 60 minutes in advance of your reservation at Chef Mickey's to get there in plenty of time. This would mean that you would need to plan on arriving at your bus stop at 6:10 a.m., which is generally too early for bus transportation.

I recommend that you speak with your Walt Disney World Resort Lobby Concierge the day before your breakfast to ask them for the specific Magic Kingdom bus schedule. They will be able to tell you how early the buses will begin on December 11th and if there isn't a bus early enough to accommodate you, the concierge will be able to arrange for a taxi cab to take you to directly to Disney's Contemporary Resort at the appropriate time the next morning.

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
