Hi Paul,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! How exciting to hear, your holiday will be here before you know it!
Being in
Magic Kingdom for New Year’s Eve is truly special. My family did this when I was a teenager and I remember everything we did including where we stood for the fireworks. Hopefully your experience is just as memorable!
Since you already have your Disney Park Pass reservations for that day, you should definitely look into dining reservations. Because New Year’s Eve (and the days leading up to it) are popular days for guests to visit, it will be nice to sit down inside and relax for a bit. If you go to the
dining reservation page and select “All Filters”, you’ll be able to see what’s available in Magic Kingdom for that day.
When you’re looking for reservations, if your desired restaurant isn’t available, keep looking over the coming weeks. You never know what might be available in the future. Also, keep in mind that some restaurants might have
walk-up availability. Once you’re in the Park, you’ll want to check to see what might be available.
I’d also suggest staying tuned to
Disney Parks Blog to see what other things might be happening across the Walt Disney World Resort and Magic Kingdom for New Year’s Eve.
One final tip: Head into Magic Kingdom earlier in the day rather than later. When I attended on New Year’s Eve years ago, the Park did reach the maximum number of guests for that day. This is definitely a possibility. So on major holidays, I always recommend going in early. Besides, more time in the Park allows for more memories to be made!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you continue planning for your joyous holiday. If you have any other planning questions,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
