Greetings, Jacqueline!
Your options abound in selecting great dining experiences around the Magic Kingdom without having to head to Epcot. Here are some of my personal favorites.
1.
'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Resort- This is one of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort Restaurants! With its Hawaiian-style feast and lively entertainment, you can escape the hustle and bustle of Magic Kingdom. If you are bringing any children along, they will delight in taking part in the coconut races or learning to hula dance. Of course, the best part is the food, it's amazing- this is a family-style dining experience brought directly to your table.
2.
Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney's Wilderness Lodge- Whispering Canyon Cafe is only a boat ride away from Magic Kingdom and offers a rootin' tootin' good time for the whole family. If hearty, western-stye fare fits the bill, this is your place. There are also opportunities for the youngest in your party to get in on the action as they really like to "horse around" here. I recommend the Build-Your-Own All-You-Care-To-Eat-Platter.
3.
The Wave...of American Flavors at Disney's Contemporary Resort- For the ultimate in convenience, walk right over to The Wave...of American Flavors. This dining experience offers fresh, American cuisine in a stylish, contemporary environment. My must-try's here are the cheeseboard and beef tenderloin.
I hope you find these suggestions helpful, Jacqueline. Please do not hesitate to ask any additional questions you may have. The Disney Parks Moms Panel is here to help.
Happy Dining!
