Hello Rafael! Your question is the sign of a great planner! I can tell that you are going to be well-prepared to enjoy all of the magic during your December vacation!
Knowing which attractions will be closed for refurbishment during your visit is a great part of planning! It is good to avoid the disappointment of looking forward to an experience only to find it is not available during your visit.
The Disney Parks list their planned refurbishments on a calendar on the
Walt Disney World Resort website. The easiest way to find the refurbishment schedule is to enter “
day calendar” in the search bar on the website. When you arrive at the day calendar, you can filter it for specific parks. In your case, you’ll click “Magic Kingdom Park” and unclick all of the other parks. You can then select the day(s) that you are interested in viewing. You’ll see a section titled, “Closed for Refurbishment.”
At the current time, the day calendar only lists refurbishments through Saturday, October 2nd. Keep checking the day calendar regularly! You will be able to see what’s scheduled for refurbishment during your visit.
Rafael, many refurbishments are currently being completed for the kick-off of
The World’s Most Magical Celebration! This celebration, in honor of the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Walt Disney World Resort, begins on October 1, 2021! With any luck (or magic) there won’t be too many refurbishments going on during your visit!
