    Does Magic Kingdom always close early during the month of September? The hours show MK closing at 9pm on non MNSSHP nights.

    Hi Jennifer!  September is known to be one of the quieter months at Walt Disney World. Of course that has been changing over the last few years with the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and the Epcot Food and Wine Festival starting earlier and earlier. These two events draw in guests from around the world. Add to that any type of running event and even this month is becoming busier.

    If Disney does not feel the crowds will be large during this time they will not have extended hours for the parks. As the time gets closer they can change times and stay open later. This can even happen on the same day and if that is the case they will make an announcement throughout the park that they are extending the times.

    Always check your times guide and ask your resort concierge for updates once you arrive. Keep checking your dates on the Park Calendar to see if things change as it gets closer to your vacation!
