Hi Kartia! Welcome to planDisney!
It's never too early to start planning for a magical Walt Disney World vacation! I can't think of a better place to celebrate your son's birthday than with Mickey, Minnie, and the rest of the gang!
I have great news for you, Kartia! Not only can you combine a stay at one of the
Disney Resorts hotels with your park tickets, but you will have time leading up to your visit to pay it off. The fastest and easiest way to book your stay is by using the
Build Your Vacation toolbar located at the top of the Walt Disney World website. Enter your anticipated travel dates along with the number of Guests in your party. A host of Disney Resorts hotels with availability will appear. Once you decide on the resort and room type you prefer, you'll then choose your ticket package. When bundling the two together, you must choose at least a 2-day park ticket. This will give you entry into any of the four theme parks for two days during your stay. This can be to the Magic Kingdom twice, or a different park on the second day. Once this is decided, you'll have a few additional options to add to your booking, otherwise, you can proceed to checkout.
Currently, a $200 deposit is required to book your stay (this price is subject to change at any time). The remaining balance is due 30 days before your arrival. You'll have the choice to make payments any time leading up to this date, or simply wait to pay the entire balance 30 days before. The choice will be yours.
If you only want to purchase a single-day ticket to the
Magic Kingdom, you'll need to book your Disney Resorts hotel stay separately. When booking this way, you'll be required to pay a deposit equal to one night of your stay with the remaining balance due upon arrival. Your tickets will need to be paid for at the time of purchase and they will be nonrefundable at that time.
Kartia, please
stop back and see us again at planDisney with any additional questions that come your way! Since you are celebrating a birthday on your trip, make sure to stop by the front desk of your resort upon arrival to get a special birthday pin for your son to wear!
Happy planning!
