We are going to Magic Kindom for 1 day in June. Our family chooses to check-in with our id's, opting out of face and finger scans. We read that we go to Guest Services first to validate with id. Is it better to do this at Disney Springs? Thanks!

    Welcome to planDisney!

You've asked a great question about Walt Disney World Guest Relations!

All four Walt Disney World theme parks use a system called Ticket Tag; this enables easy re-entry by quickly checking that the ticket being used belongs to the person entering. According to this Walt Disney Company Frequently Asked Question about privacy, "If you do not want to use Ticket Tag, you can simply carry and show a photo ID that matches the name identified with your ticket. Contact Guest Relations for assistance with this process." Because your identification will be verified right before entering a park, you should do this at the Guest Relations location that's just to the right at the entrance to Magic Kingdom Park.

Keep in mind that Guest Services will be open prior to official park operating hours, so you can even arrive a bit early to check this box off your to-do list and start your Magic Kingdom fun. For hours, see the Magic Kingdom Hours & Events Calendar for the day you'll be there. There is so much to do and see--it's truly a magical place, indeed. I'm so excited for your family to experience all of it!

As you plan your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
