I have a magic key and was wondering if I can scan in for my reservation day and leave right afterwards due to illness?

Hi there, Brianna, and welcome to planDisney!

Oh gosh! I hate to hear that you are not feeling well. The thought of visiting the Disneyland Resort is typically filled with joy, but that’s hard to do when feeling under the weather. I'm happy to help put your mind at ease.

Per the Magic Key No-Show policy, if you enter the park any time before closing on the day of your reservation, you’re good! So, if you’re unable to cancel your reservation by 11:59 PM PST on the day before, you can surely scan in and then head back home to get some rest.

Bonus Tip: Even if you have a reservation for both parks, you only need to enter one to avoid being considered a no-show.

Brianna, I hope this helps and that you recover quickly so that you can get back to enjoying your Magic Key and its amazing benefits! When you’re ready to dive back into the magic and need help planning, we would be glad to see you again here at planDisney!

Sending you faith, trust, and pixie dust,
