Hey howdy hey, Jacob, and welcome to
planDisney!
Your magical visit is just one day away, so I’d love to help you get back on track with your
Magic Key! As a fellow Magic Key holder, I was able to check my Magic Key Monthly Payment contract to help get your answer. According to the contract, if your Magic Key payment is declined, you will be unable to use your Magic Key to enter the theme parks until you’re able to update the delinquent payment. This actually happened to me a few months ago when the card I had on file for monthly payments was expired. I didn’t realize this until my Magic Key wasn’t allowed entrance at the Disneyland Park turnstiles, so I was told to visit the Main Entrance Ticket Booth to check on the issue. Once we realized the situation, I was able to make the payment at the Ticket Booth to reinstate my Magic Key, and I was able to enter the park within a matter of minutes. To make the payment or to change the card you have on file, you can also call Magic Key Monthly Payment Guest Services at (800) 410-4656 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Pacific Time, Monday through Friday, or from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday or Sunday. A Cast Member will be happy to help you get your situation straightened out.
Jacob, are you following
@disneylandmagickey on Instagram yet? This is the best spot for the latest Magic Key news and giveaways! For example, did you know that Magic Key holders can pick up a specialty branded Magic Key holiday tote in Disney California Adventure Park starting December 5, 2022? Find this giveaway under Silly Symphony Swings from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM through December 20, 2022.
I hope everything works out for you, Jacob, so that you can return to the magic soon! I’ll be sending pixie dust your way!
Wishing you magic,
Kristin
