We have magic key passes and reservations to Disneyland as a starting park-we would like to visit both parks same day-do we need reservations for DCA as well-for the same day?

Hi there, Vickie. Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for taking the time to visit us with your question!

Congratulations on being new Magic Key Passholders. The Magic Key pass provides reservation-based admission to one or both Disneyland Resort theme parks. With a Magic Key pass, you’re able to park hop to the second park at 1 PM. The park reservation you made indicates you’ll be visiting Disneyland Park in the morning. At 1 PM, you’ll be able to hop to Disney California Adventure Park without needing to make a separate reservation. The flexibility to visit both theme parks is great; you get to enjoy all the pixie-dusted fun of both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park in one day!

For all the latest park news, please be sure to check out Disney Parks Blog and Disneyland.com.

If you have more trip-planning questions, feel free to write us again. We’re all EARS!

    See ya real soon,

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
