My magic key pass expired on October 2, I thought I was still able to renew it

Hey howdy hey, Kim! You’ve got a friend in me at planDisney, so let’s get started!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but unfortunately, Magic Key Passes are eligible for renewal up to 30 days before their expiration date, and can’t be renewed after their expiration date. So, if your Magic Key expired on October 2, 2022, then you won’t be able to see the option to renew online anymore, and you won’t be able to renew at this time. However, you may choose to purchase a new Magic Key if and when sales of new passes become available in the future.

I recommend following the Disney Parks Blog and @disneylandmagickey on Instagram so you don’t miss the latest and greatest Magic Key news and announcements. Also, while you’re awaiting any news about Magic Key sales, check out the Offers & Discounts page for any special theme park ticket discounts or promotions that may help you plan your next visit to the Disneyland Resort. I’m crossing my fingers and sending pixie dust your way that we hear news about new Magic Key sales soon, Kim!

    Wishing you magic,
    Kristin

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Greetings from sunny California! I live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder (and now a Magic Key Passholder) for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Learn More About Kristin
