If my magic key pass is block out for a certain day but I still wanna go that certain day. Ima still able to go and is it regular price or do we get a discount?

    Hello there, Ernesto!

From one fellow Magic Key holder to another, welcome back to planDisney and I hope that you've been making good use of that Magic Key! It has some fantastic benefits attached and I often check the Magic Key Portal in the Disneyland Mobile App for any specials they are offering to us. I've gotten some of my favorite souvenirs that way.

During Magic Key blockout dates, you may absolutely purchase a regular ticket just like anyone else. No discount would be applied to the ticket purchase. If you purchase Genie+, it would be for the regular price as well. And make sure you book a reservation for the date as well. The good news is that any Magic Key discounts on food and merchandise would still apply!

Did you know that, as a Magic Key holder, you get to purchase tickets to Disneyland After Dark events before the general public? My wife and I will be attending Throwback Nite and we're currently learning how to dance the jitterbug! Be sure to drop by the newly re-opened Mickey's Toontown as well!

Ernesto, I hope I've been able to answer your question. I love that we both would be willing to visit the Parks even on blockout dates. Please feel free to visit us again at planDisney anytime you have anything more you'd like to know! We're here to help.

    Have a Magical Day!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
