Hiya, Phil, and thanks for bringing your question to
planDisney!
First off, congratulations on being a
Magic Key holder! I also have a Magic Key, and I love the fun perks and
discounts that come along with it.
It sounds like you may have the
Enchant Key, which allows you to hold up to four
theme park reservations at a time. So, if this is the case, and you’re trying to plan a five-day visit, I’m happy to report that it can still be done. You can go ahead and book your first four park reservations now, but will have to wait until you enter the theme parks on the first day of your vacation to book your fifth day. As soon as you scan in, you can use your
Disneyland app to book your fifth reservation day. Even if your desired date is full, there’s still hope. I recommend continuing to refresh the park reservation calendar throughout the day, since you never know when reservations will appear. I’ve also had luck finding a last-minute park reservation after about 9:30 or 10:00 PM the night before, since Magic Key holders need to cancel reservations by 11:59 PM Pacific Time on the day before the reserved date in order to avoid being a “no-show.”
Since you’ll be visiting the
Disneyland Resort during
Halloween Time, you won’t want to miss some spooky Disney PhotoPass Magic Shot photo opportunities just for Magic Key holders! You can find a skeleton-themed Magic Shot in Disney California Adventure Park, located under Silly Symphony Swings, and another ghostly Magic Shot in Disneyland Park near Haunted Mansion. Both of these Magic Shots also include a complimentary download just for Magic Key holders! For more fun tips like this one, be sure to follow

Please stop by with any additional questions, Phil… we’re all EARs!
Wishing you frightful fun,
Kristin
