Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party is definitely one of the reasons why.
While
Magic Key holders do not receive a discount on tickets for Oogie Boogie Bash, there was a pre-sale event that took place for Magic Key holders to purchase tickets before they went on sale to the general public. Unfortunately, the pre-sale has already been completed and regular sales resumed today (July 11th) for tickets. If you're not already in the queue, you can join today to secure tickets for your desired date. Just visit the Special Events Tickets page (located under the heading "Parks and Tickets") on the Disneyland site to join the queue. I'll be sending pixie dust your way.

Once you've secured your tickets to the bash, you can start a countdown and start daydreaming about the ghoulishly good time you'll have. I'm already starting to think about what costume to wear and practicing my skeleton dance. There is also usually something special for Magic Key holders during these special events, so keep an eye out to see what might appear (not guaranteed). Last year, it was a cute little popcorn bag/holder.
