    As a Magic Key holder do I need to make park reservations for both parks for the same day if I want to park hop? I was not able to make reservations to both parks on one day, and want to see if I’m okay to park hop. Thank you!

    Welcome to planDisney!

    I hope you’ve been enjoying your Magic Key so far. Magic Key holders have access to reservation-based admission to both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, discounts on select dining and merchandise, and discounts on Disney Genie+ service. If you have the Inspire Key or Believe Key you’ll even get complementary or discounted standard theme park parking and unlimited Disney PhotoPass digital downloads. Now that’s what I call perks!

    When making a Theme Park Reservation with your Magic Key, the system will prompt you to pick either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park as the theme park that you would like to start your day at. Because your Magic Key has park hopping privileges, you do not need to make a separate reservation and are allowed to hop to the next park starting at 11:00 AM. Your Theme Park Reservation will say “ALL DAY” with the park that you selected, but rest assured that you will be able to hop from park to park as much as you’d like starting at 11:00 AM unless the park is at capacity, which rarely ever happens anymore.

    Well Katie, I guess all that’s left is to pick out your outfits for the trip.
