    I am a magic key holder and had family visiting so i purchased 4 tickets but they canceled. Can i get a food or mechandise credit for tickets and cancel them?

    Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for sending this Disneyland Resort theme park ticket question our way. I'm excited to be your planEAR today! I am so sorry that your family had to cancel their Disney days at the last minute! Hopefully you'll still visit Mickey and his pals and soak up some self-care!

    Disneyland Resort theme park tickets are unable to be refunded to either their original form of payment, cash, or as a credit to be used elsewhere in the parks. However, wholly unused tickets do retain their value and may be used towards the balance of re-purchased tickets and upgrades for future visits, even a year away. I've actually been in your shoes where I was left with a friend's ticket from a cancelled trip once and I was able to apply the value of the ticket toward my then Annual Pass monthly payments. You should be able to do the same with your Magic Key, Anna, either now if you have a monthly payment plan or within 30 days of your renewal date. You'll have to speak to a Cast Member in person at the ticket booths in The Esplanade to make this transaction as upgrades on existing tickets are unable to be done over the phone, online or even in the Disneyland mobile app, so be sure to ask if they have any other ideas or tricks up their sleeve if the value of the tickets needs to be returned to your family and not kept for yourself.

    Don't forget to cancel the park pass reservations that were initially made for the tickets by logging into the 'My Reservations' section of your Disneyland Account and clicking 'cancel reservation.' The next screen will ask you who you'd like to remove from the party, so keep yourself and anyone else who is still planning on attending checked. The next page will ask to confirm your modification, and then you'll be all set.
