If I am a magic key holder but want to book a park package to Disneyland thru Costco and take my son. How do I only pay for his ticket? He is 11.

    Hello, Jennifer!

Welcome to planDisney! I love hearing from other Nevadans named Jennifer! Growing up in Nevada, I have always been grateful that it was so easy to visit Disneyland Resort.

Before I became a Magic Key holder, I booked a few trips to Disneyland through Costco. It's a great option if it works for you! In the past, I was able to book a Costco package while also having an annual pass (before Magic Keys) by calling Costco. It wasn't an option available online. I don't know Costco's rules for their current packages, so I suggest calling them directly.

If a Costco package isn't a viable choice for your family, then I recommend checking out the current Offers and Discounts at Disneyland. A Kids Special Ticket Offer is available for children ages 3 to 9 through March 10, 2024, subject to restrictions and park reservation availability. Additionally, there is a promotion on Sunday to Thursday night stays at a Disneyland Resort hotel through March 7, 2024. My family loves staying at the Disneyland Hotel when traveling with our kids! If those dates don't apply to your trip, just keep monitoring the Offers and Discounts page for future offers.

I also recommend downloading the Disneyland mobile app before your trip. On the app, you can view park maps, make dining reservations, and plan your vacation. At the parks, it's very handy when viewing wait times, using Disney Genie+, and mobile ordering food. Lunchtime can be busy for mobile ordering, which is why I mobile order our meals at least a couple of hours before we want to eat. You can select a later time that works for your schedule (and your hungry bellies!).

Jennifer, I'm so glad you stopped by planDisney! If you have more questions, feel free to contact me directly. Enjoy your trip to Disneyland Resort!
