Hello, When will magic key go on sale again? Will you have to buy each family member a key?

Hello and welcome to planDisney, Michelle. We're so glad you found us to ask this question. I am delighted to hear that you are interested in becoming a Magic Key holder. There are so many wonderful benefits so I definitely understand your excitement.

As you've alluded, Magic Key sales are currently paused. We unfortunately don't know when sales might reopen again. If you aren't already, I suggest following @disneylandmagickey on Instagram for any news and updates. When Magic Key sales last reopened, this is where I first saw the news. When sales resume, each family member aged 3 years and above will need to have their own Magic Key pass to visit the parks using this program.

There are so many great reasons to be a Magic Key holder. There are benefits like exclusive discounts and offerings. My favorite benefit of all is being able to visit the parks whenever I feel like I need a little boost of magic (with a valid theme park reservation). There's also a portal in the Disneyland app that I check for any Magic Key offers before and during my visits.

I'm sorry this isn't the answer you were hoping for, Michelle. I do hope that the information I shared is still helpful as you are thinking about and preparing for Magic Key sales to reopen. Speaking of which, I'll be sending all the pixie dust your way and wishing on an evening star in the hopes that we hear some good news soon. Let us know if there's anything else that we can help with. We're always here to help and answer your questions.
