Can a magic key be cancelled by the key holder?

Hi Cinche! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by to send us your question!

I'm sorry to hear you want to cancel your Disneyland Magic Key. Once purchased, Magic Keys cannot be canceled and are non-refundable. If the Magic Key has not been activated, you still have one year from the date of purchase to activate it. An unactivated expired Magic Key pass may be upgraded to an available Magic Key pass at the then-current price so long as the new pass purchase price is equal to or greater than the amount paid for the original pass. The purchase price of the original pass will be applied to the purchase of the new Magic Key pass, and the price difference must be paid in full at the time of upgrade.

There's no better time to visit The Happiest Place on Earth than the 70th Anniversary Celebration! This special celebration lasts through the summer of 2026, and the magic awaits you. I hope you can visit soon!

If you have more questions, please send them to us at planDisney. We're all ears, and we would love to help!

    Wishing you magic,
    Lisa
