I'm glad to hEAR you purchased
MagicBands for your upcoming trip. They're such handy mouseketools that make everything on your vacation more convenient, especially if you're staying in a hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection. I love being able to unlock my resort room door, make purchases, and enter the theme parks without even opening my wallet.
If you will be a guest of the
Disney Resorts Collection and took advantage of the pre-arrival purchase of MagicBands through
My Disney Experience, they are automatically linked to each Guest in your party. There's nothing left to zip-a-dee-do! Select "My MagicBands & Cards" from the My Disney Experience dropdown menu to check the status of each MagicBand.
If you purchased your MagicBands elsewhere, like
shopDisney, you'll need to follow these steps to make sure they are properly assigned and linked to everyone in your group. I recommend doing this on the web version of My Disney Experience rather than in the
mobile app. On the "My MagicBands & Cards" screen of your My Disney Experience account, scroll down until you see "Link a MagicBand," and click on "Link." Follow the prompts and type in each character as it appears on the back of the MagicBand. If you continue to run into problems, you'll need to call (407) 939-4357, and a friendly Cast Member will assist you.
