After the Main Street Electrical Parade, "Magic Happens" is one of my favorite
parades! The colors, the float designs, the costumes, and that catchy soundtrack all combine to create Disney magic. It's the kind of parade song that instantly gets stuck in my head and happily stays there!
Ashlee, I am thrilled to share some exciting news with you and all fellow dreamers.
Magic Happens is officially returning to Disneyland Resort!
The recent Disney Parks Blog announcement has Disney fans dancing with excitement, and for good reason. While an exact return date has not been announced just yet, we do know that "Magic Happens" will be back on the streets of Disneyland Park just in time for summer 2027. The magic doesn't stop there! "Remember... Dreams Come True" fireworks will also be making a triumphant return. Originally created for Disneyland's 50th Anniversary celebration and narrated by Julie Andrews, this nighttime spectacular holds a special place in the hearts of so many Guests. I cannot wait to see this beloved favorite
light up the skies once again! I was a mom of two toddlers at the time, and the memories of those first visits with my kids has me sitting here feeling all the feels!
Over at
Disney California Adventure Park? Well, I already know I'll want to pack a few extra tissues! The original World of Color will return in February 2027, and I could not be more excited. I have lost count of how many times I've sat along Paradise Bay, mesmerized by the fountains, music, and storytelling. Every single viewing brought chills, happy tears, or both!
If you ask me, 2027 is shaping up to be a pixie-dusted year packed with returning favorites. It feels like Disneyland is opening a treasure chest full of beloved entertainment, and Guests will be celebrating the magical bounty!
