    I have magic bands from about 4 years ago.. Will they work still?

    Hello Sandra and thanks for bringing such an important question to us here at planDisney.

    I really do enjoy my collection of MagicBands as they provide such an awesome visual memory of my family's past trips to the magic of Walt Disney World Resort.  Plus, they are a really great talking point for anyone who visits my home!

    Sandra, I'm so happy to be able to share with you that yes indeed, Guests are more than welcome to reuse still functioning MagicBands from their previous visits to the most magical place on earth.  In fact, I almost always reuse some of my favourite MagicBands as I love their pixie-dusted designs so much!  

    My only caveat for reusing MagicBands is that your now 4 yEAR old MagicBands may not be able to fully function with select Disney PhotoPass Attraction videos and photos.

    I also thought that you may find these Frequently Asked Questions - MagicBands & Cards to be a really helpful planning resource for your upcoming magical vacation.
