Do the Magic Bands work as payment in the Disney Springs area?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lara!

Guests who stay at a Disney Resort hotel enjoy many magical benefits, and one of my favorites is leaving my wallet behind and using my MagicBand to charge purchases to my room.

You can enjoy this amazing perk at most merchandise and dining locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort, including Disney Springs. When you choose online check-in or if you check in upon arrival, you will be required to link a valid credit card to your profile and then chose a 4-digit pin that will be used to charge purchases to your room using your MagicBand. Other Guests in your party may also be granted charging privileges. To track your expenses, simply stop by Front Desk and they will provide you with an updated list.

Thank you for stopping by, Lara! Don’t forget to play big at the recently opened Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and secure tickets to the most spooktacular party of the season, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

    Best magical wishes,
    Thiana
