Hi Jennifer! Welcome to planDisney. We’re so glad you’re here!
The final count down to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is on! Can you believe that you will be off enjoying Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary Celebration in less than a week? How fabulous! There will be so much to enjoy during this special time, so I just know you'll love every minute of your magical adventure. But, if you ask me, nothing tops the stunning Beacons of Magic at all four theme parks. You've never seen the theme park icons quite like this, transformed into a glimmering EARidescent rainbow of colors and magic. I'll tell you, the first time I saw them, they took my breath away!
Now, let’s get to your question, shall we? I am happy to share that you can absolutely reuse your MagicBands from your previous trip during your upcoming visit. Great news, right? However, the MagicBands cannot be reassigned to a different person, so the same members of your party would need to use them for this trip. You can view all of the MagicBands assigned to your family by following these simple steps:
- Open your My Disney Experience mobile app.
- Open the menu by clicking on the three stacked lines in the bottom right corner.
- Click on MagicBands and More.
- From here, you will see all of the members of your party and can click on their names to view any linked MagicBands.
- The ID number noted in this section can be found on the back of the MagicBand.
As for your Advanced Dining Reservation, if your reservation is at one of the fabulous dining locations within a theme park, both a theme park ticket and Park Pass Reservation are required to enter the park for your meal. So, you would need to ensure that you have both secured so you don’t miss out on your Advanced Dining Reservation. Do make sure that you are familiar with the restaurant reservation cancellation policy ahead of your visit should you no longer be able to attend your reservation. You’ll want to make sure you cancel at least one day before your scheduled dining time, or a $10.00 per person late cancellation fee (this amount is subject to change) will be charged to the card put on file at the time of booking. I like to set a reminder on my phone for 23 hours before to make sure I cancel in time if I decide to skip a reservation.
I do hope you have a wonderful time on your upcoming vacation! If you have any questions before you take off, or even once you have arrived, please don't hesitate to reach back out! We here at planDisney just love to help our fellow guests make the most of their Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
Have a magical day!
