Are magic bands transferable? I have a magic band that I used back in October 2014 and I'd like to give it to my daughter if they can link it up to her and take me off of it.

Unfortunately, according to Disney policy, Disney's MagicBands are non-transferable and cannot be linked to another individual once you have activated them. You may remember having your index finger scanned when you used your band in October. That ensures that the MagicBand is only accessed by you for park entry or for purchases to a credit card you may have linked to the account, and no one else.

Thanks for coming to visit us here at the Moms Panel.

Meet the Panelist: Whitney, Mississippi

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
