    Can we use magic bands for tipping waiters at restaurants. If so, do you suggest using the magicband or is cash better?

    Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I'm happy to help!

    As long as your MagicBand is linked to your credit card for charging purposes, you can definitely use it to add gratuity at the Table-Service restaurants. It will be added to your resort room master bill, and you will receive a list of charges at the end of your stay. If you prefer to use cash, you can certainly do that as well but if you are using the Disney Dining Plan, you will still be required to present your MagicBand to use your credits. I personally prefer to use my MagicBand, because I only carry a little bit of cash in the parks.
