Can the magic bands be tied to credit cards held by someone other than the person who is designated as the reservation holder. The reservation is in my name. I would like for my son and his wife magic band be tied to their credit card instead of mine

    Hi Sharon,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for sending us your question.  You will be happy to know that MagicBands are so incredibly smart, all of your information regarding Theme Park Tickets, Advanced Dining Reservations, Resort Hotel information, FastPass+, PhotoPass and much more concerning your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation.  I only wish there was a MagicBand that would help organize my everyday life!

When you arrive at your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel and check-in, the Cast Member will ask if you would like to add a Credit Card to your account for purchases.  At this time, simply tell the Cast Member that you would like to add a separate Credit Card to certain MagicBands and the Cast Member will be able to assign your credit card to your account and your son and daughter-in-law's credit card to their account.  You will need to show the Cast Member photo identification as well as the credit card you would like to use.  The Cast Member will also ask for each person to set up a PIN for security reasons when making purchases.  The process is easy, however in my experience, it does take some time, so be prepared to be with the Cast Member for a little longer during check-in.

I hope you have a magical time at Walt Disney World Resort, Sharon.  Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help.
