    I have 4 magic bands and 4 tickets-how do I link them?

Hi there, Cathy! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question today!

In just a few short weeks, you'll be headed out on your Walt Disney World resort vacation! Well, hold on to your hat, Cathy, because it is bound to be a wild ride with so much happening around Walt Disney World! But, before you can set off on your adventure, we have to get your MagicBands and tickets all linked up in your My Disney Experience account. So, let’s get to it!

Now, when linking your MagicBands and theme park tickets, you’re not only adding them to your My Disney Experience account but assigning them to a specific Guest. So, you’ll first want to ensure all of the Guests in your party are linked to your account. To check, open up your My Disney Experience account and open the menu by clicking the three stacked lines in the bottom right corner. Then, click on “My Profile” then “Family & Friends List,” and you will see everyone linked to your account. If you don’t see someone there, scroll down, click “Add a Guest,” and follow the prompts to get them added to your account.

Now that everyone is added, you can start adding their tickets and MagicBands. Let’s begin with MagicBands. First, log back into your My Disney Experience app and navigate back to the menu. Then, click on the “MagicBands and More” tile. From there, you’ll see a list of all the Guests in your party. To add their MagicBand, click on “Link a MagicBand or Card” under their name. You can then use the scanner feature to tap and add your MagicBands, or you can toggle over to “Type ID” and manually enter the number from the back of the MagicBand. Finally, follow the prompts, and you’re all set!

For tickets, you’ll want to go back to the menu, but this time select the “Tickets and Passes” tile. Then, click on the blue “+” in the upper right corner, and select “Link Tickets & Passes.” From there, type in the ticket ID from your confirmation email (or the back of your card), and you’ll be taken to a page to assign the ticket to a Guest in your party. Simply follow the prompts to link the tickets, and you’re good to go!

I hope I have been able to help you today! There are still a few weeks before you head out on your vacation, so please feel free to stop by again with any other planning questions you may have!

    Have a magical day!
