    Hey there, Mike! Welcome to planDisney. You’ve come to the right place to learn about our very favorite piece of Disney flair -- the MagicBand!


    While on vacation at Walt Disney World, your MagicBand truly becomes your key to the Kingdom. It is a wearable plastic bracelet that can serve as a room key and method of payment if staying on property at a Disney Resort Hotel. For all Guests, regardless, it serves as Park Ticket and perfect accessory/souvenir, plus so much more! MagicBands are no longer complimentary for Guests. However, they can be purchased easily via your My Disney Experience account with any Disney Vacation Package reservation! In fact, there are now so many premium, themed MagicBands to choose from, it may be hard to choose just one! Did you know that you can have multiple MagicBands linked to your account? This way, you can keep your options open!


    While I’m at it, Mike, let me suggest that you download the latest version of the My Disney Experience Mobile App to truly experience the joy of having your plans right at your fingertips. And don’t forget to make Park Pass Reservations for each member of your travel party!
